Alapítványunk ma 11.00-órakkor emlékezik a nemzetközi roma holokauszt emléknapja alkalmából! Szeretettel várunk a Vasúttörténeti parkban a XIII. Tatai út 95 szám alatt. 1944. augusztus 2-án Auschwitz-Birkenauban több, mint 4300 romát, köztük nőket és gyerekeket gyilkoltak meg. Ezen a tragikus napon rájuk emlékezünk, és arra az 500 000 – 1,5 millió roma emberre, akiket a második világháború alatt táborokban, mezőkön és jelöletlen árkokban gyilkoltak meg Európában.
Emlékeznünk és emlékeztetnünk kell arra, hogy egy kegyetlen rendszer, egy politikai ideológia hogyan és miért akart pusztán származásuk miatt véglegesen eltörölni, kiirtani emberi népcsoportokat, megsemmisíteni a másképpen gondolkodókat.
